ON VOICE with Julia Moody | MASTERCLASS
Presenting a unique and elite voice masterclass with acclaimed voice, accent and dialect, and acting coach, Julia Moody. Designed for experienced actors as well as the serious beginner, who wish to bring their auditions and self tapes alive, utilizing the potential and impact of an actors most important asset, their voice! In this workshop, we will learn about breath work, vocal technique, and text analysis: applying these principals to shape the character’s text allowing for an in-depth and powerful performance. Ideal for actors wanting to take their auditions and self-tapes to the next professional level. For Adults and 16 + years.

One of the most respected and sought after acting and voice coaches, Julia Moody has been acting since the 1970s. She has taught at both WAAPA (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts) and the elite drama school RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts) an institution with a rich history of acting graduates that include Tom Hiddleston, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Anthony Hopkins and Alan Rickman to name just a few. Julia has also worked as a dialect coach and actor for many theatre companies including Black Swan State Theatre Company and Melbourne Theatre Company. Julia started her career training at both Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and at NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Art). Her on-screen credits include roles in “Sons & Daughters”, “Love in Limbo” with Russell Crowe, “Cloudstreet” and “Jasper Jones” in 2017 with Hugo Weaving and Toni Collette. We are beyond thrilled to welcome Julia to our studio for her to expertise and world class teaching, guidance and direction.
