Richard Mellick graduated from NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic Arts) in 1987 and has worked as an actor, director, playwright, artistic director and teacher. His work encompasses remote, regional and mainstream metropolitan theatre including Sydney Theatre Co, the Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Service, Black Swan State Theatre Co, Darwin Theatre Co, Deckchair Theatre, NIDA and WAAPA. He has done everything from small scale community theatre to Shakespeare at the Sydney Opera House, from musicals to heavy drama. He has made numerous appearances in Film and TV including “Parallax” “Ship to Shore” and “Lockie Leonard” An in-demand voice artist as well, you might recognize his voice as the narrator of TV’s “Who Do You Think You Are”
